About Me

Hello and welcome to Teen Web Developer, as the site’s title says my name is John and I am a Teen Web Developer. Since starting my development “career” in late 2005 at the young age of 12 I’ve had my fair share of successes and failures and meet some amazing people along the way.

For those of you who don’t want to do the mental math that makes me roughly 18 years old now. I am also a senior in high school this coming year; and I’m in the graduating class of 2011 at Primavera online high school.

I originally started teen web developer in 2008, I couldn’t sleep one night and decided it’d be a “creative” idea to start a blog about being a Teen Web Developer and myself. It ended up being more of a personal blog about my life then the work that happened, and as I soon found out not many people wanted to hear about my adventures with my friends. Not to mention my writing skills were so horrendous it’s a miracle anyone could understand my original posts.

Now fast-forwarding to present day, we’re coming up on summer 2010. My goal for this summer is re-founding a number of my past projects but adjust the themes to meet the requests and desires of my readers, like yourself. The major corner piece to my re-launch is expected to be teen web developer website.

Over the year’s I’ve been fortunate to meet many different creative minds, some of which are teenagers and others whom aren’t but they all share a common theme, which is in one form or another web related. So it’s my goal to not only bring my knowledge and thoughts to the front page of teen web development but a number of their thoughts and concepts as well.

At the end of the day I hope that this website, and myself will help inspire a future generation of teen web developers. I know when I started I was a bit lost and didn’t much of a foundation to learn from so if this website is able to help one teenager or person then this website’s done it’s job.

If your truly interested in getting to know me on a much more personal level then please feel free to e-mail me using the contact page, add me on facebook or follow me on twitter!
