I have to say that I couldn’t do it… That’s right I couldn’t just walk away from the web development world. Yes, that does mean I am back.

I am sure no one even reads this blog anymore, I am also sure no one has this blog on their RSS readers anymore. So I am starting ALL over, ok so not completely all over. Search engines are still finding my blog so I am keeping my old posts up but going to try and put those to the side.

This website is going to become my personal and professional blog, what that means is you will be hearing about my personal life along with my web development life.

What’s sad is if you look at the sidebar, and find my Network, you’ll see a bunch of websites I only own one of those websites now.

To bring everyone up to speed on what’s happened if by any chance I get any former readers reading this…

I was hired as a designer for the design firm synapse studios, but that quickly died. At the time I honestly didn’t have the time nor the skill level required to work at their level. I love the fact the guys gave me the chance and it was fun while it lasted.

But after that I just walked away from the web world. I hardly even checked my e-mails as many of you noticed. I did how ever keep at my video gaming and went to my first international gaming event in San Jose Cali. The event which many people should have heard about was Nvision 08 and was sponsored by none other than nivida.

We didn’t place the best but we did take 9th and facing a lot of the best gaming teams in the call of duty scene we were very happy. We also took 4th place in crysis tournament losing to the team who was formally known as Nexus gaming.

Over all it was a great chance to meet a lot of people and had a lot of fun was defiantly worth it.

So now back to today, I am just starting to get back into the web scene. I bought a new webhosting company yesterday name Neanix Data solutions. It’s nothing large but it’s defiantly worth it.

I also have been working on my teen advice blog which can be found at www.realteenhelp.com. Feel free to pop over and let me know what you think of it.

At the minute I am not to worried about my site designs, I am more focused on my content, so when I get a chance and aren’t busy with developing new websites and such I may redesign this site never know. Just don’t hold your breath haha.

As you hopefully noticed by logging on to the site today I have redesigned Teen Web Developer. I know I showed you guys a different template for the site design but after working on it I just opted not to use it because it didn’t really match me or the website.

This templates still in beta testing and there’s a few more features I am adding and modifying but I guess after 7 hours this isn’t half way bad considering I had to code and design it.

With the new redesign I am going to be starting to update the blog as I had originally planned. Using more how-tos and helpful information than just site updates and news on my personal life.

So with that being said this is time for a new leaf.

It’s been long over due and I am hyped for it!

Anyways with one of my main websites down I am having to look for a new source of income to balance it out and I have held back from placing ads because I really don’t want to use this site as like a main source of income. I have made this site for kicks. Yet sadly in order to keep me on the right track I will be adding ads in next few hours to Teen Web Developer I believe. We shall see

Thanks for all the e-mails I got saying they are sorry to hear about my girlfriend and I. Oddly enough a lot of people weren’t so thrilled with the thought of me retiring. Anyways once again thanks for the e-mails. I will continue to work with websites I am just selling off a few so I won’t be working massively hard, just on a select few sites.

Anyways before the updates take a look at Krazy Ness! everyone should reconize the developer as Edward, he’s posting comments here on a daily lv. Thanks for the extra publicity.

Updates.

Proxy.Ht has some major issues, and I haven’t been able to fix. Sadly this was one of my largest money making sites using adsense.

I have been working on the new design for Teen Web Developer I have 90% of it coded into valid xhtml & css tableless. After which I will be working on making it a wordpress template. Expect it in 8 - 10 days.

I had a meeting with a small eBay company (small as in everyday they have 600 + auctions running). They have contacted me to do some work on eBay sale templates and some flash work on their website.

My Ex Girlfriend and I are starting to work on things, we are officially back together. But it’s very bumpy… to say the least. I still love her and through out this all we haven’t yelled or been mad at each other massively so it’s been a better than normal break up.

I got a great e-mail from one of the dedicated readers at Teen Web Developer that I will be sharing here later on today!

Sorry but here’s an update on life and honestly this may be a long blog post… I’ll try and keep it short. First off sorry haven’t updated all weekend. I had a major issues, you may remember I flew out to be with my girlfriend Ali.

I was with her this last Friday night and just being with her something was off so the next day I bring it up and like I have guessed forever she has nothing to compare our relationship to she has only dated one other guy while I have date ……yea skip that part…… Girls.

Anyways in the end we fixed things or so I thought we had this morning and now after talking tonight things were still off and when I questioned her it turns out things are still bad and I have now lost my girlfriend of exactly 9 months and a half.

Anyways while I have sat here blasting music trying to forget life I am questioning what exactly do I want out of life. The thing is until today I could see her and I being together forever and now I have to rethink life… I am considering resigning out of the web development world. As well as considering enrolling in public school next year again.

She was my motivation for work a lot of my money earned was put to flying out to be with her, I have little to no drive to work anymore. At least not this kind of a job. I have roughly 25 websites at this point in time If I decide to move on for good I will be selling each, I’d prefer to see my work live on rather than drop dead.

I am not sure what I will do yet, needless to say I am cutting my trip a few months short and will be back home in the next two days. I miss a few friends and all but honestly and no offence guys but I’d prefer to have her back over seeing you sooner than expected.

Anyways something I found made me laugh and it’s so true….

Banking – Your bank will not give a young entrepreneur a credit card but they will give a student a credit card.

Networking – I love networking and would love to attend more conferences but being young makes it difficult. A lot of internet marketing and blogging conference’ are held in America meaning you have to be 21 to get into a bar, drink, be one of the guys. Although I enjoyed my recent visit to the States, I didn’t feel like one of the guys because of this.

Knowledge – Everything’s new, you have never been in business before so how would you know? That’s not good enough, do you research before you go into business!

Respect – You’re a kid, get out of my office! No one will even consider you as an advertiser, designer, and business partner so prove them wrong!

So I promised I would have been posting sooner but as you can guess I got side tracked. This time I honestly was working on something for Teen Web Developer. As you likely can tell from the image above we are going to be getting a new look!

I have been designing and playing with the idea for a few days here, in between me doing over 80 classes of school in a week. Tip for the day. Do your school or your scrambling to finish on time!

I am not sure if the design will change or not while coding and designing it so consider this as Version 1.0. I am looking for feed back so please leave comments now that it’s been fixed.

Also I noticed that my SEO Tool on the site is messing up our main keywords so I am going to spend some time playing around with that and trying to fix it. I hate how google takes days to update some times =/

Anyways guys Let me know, as promised I have blog post ready and I will be posting one here in the next few hours!

Honestly feels like I have a over fill of creativeness right now and I plan to use it all! (Hint at a blog post)

Figures my blog post before this was about motivation to blog and I have neglected to write an update in days. Funny how that works isn’t it haha, nah honestly I have been spending time with the girlfriend and working on cleaning out my domains.

Anyways I have no real excuse for why I haven’t posted besides that haha. Someone did e-mail me and tell me that my comments weren’t working. Which explains a lot of things, for the longest time I thought no one liked the blog enough to comment.

Finally someone posted a comment on Teen Advice Blog saying that Teen Web Developers comments weren’t working. I broke one of my core rules, which is always test EVER aspect of your website before going online.

There are a few more of my rules to working online that I will be posting in the next few days.

Core of this story is always check your website for flaws. I have been running the site for almost a month now and I was just informed about this.

I am working on two or three different blog posts so I should be making another update in the next few hours or early tomorrow!

I am regretfully guilty of this, I have been working on updating the blog everyday but as you will notice I have been unsuccessful to continually update everyday. Going over google searching for “Motivation to Blog” I found almost nothing that helped.

People seem to forget their blogs after just a short while. So I am going to offer a few tips in which I use to try and remember to update my blogs and websites.

Sticky Notes - It doesn’t get much simpler, than a sticky note placed on your monitor that says “UPDATE TEEN WEB DEVELOPER”. Every night before you go put the sticky note in the middle of your monitor, you can’t ignore that every morning.

Custom homepage - My custom homepage has rss feeds relating to web site industry news, I have 5 to 6 rss feeds giving me a great source of up to date news and information to blog on each day, I also have a really annoying flashing ad that say exactly what my stick note says “UPDATE TEEN WEB DEVELOPER” but in flashing black and white. While it’s very annoying it is effective.

Another great way I try to remember to update my blogs is by setting an alarm on my cell phone. I have mine to go off at or near 1 pm, since me being a teenager who does online school I am never up before 12 pm. It’s a great reminder and its very simple to both set up and use.

Looking at other websites that are a lot like yours can give you some great ideas, don’t rip the exact same topic from them but use it as foundation for your own Unique post.

Of course these are just a few of the ones I use I’d love to hear what everyone else has to say so please feel free to comment and give us a few of your ways to stay motivated and remember to update your blog.

Wow is about all I can say I really fell behind on the blog. I haven’t updated the site in days. I am really sorry about that. Spring breaks been great, its amazing to finally be able to give my girlfriend a hug and kiss again. Even better Is being able to stare in her amazing eyes and see some thing magical about them.

Needless to say I am sure I have a lot of people going ok “yuck… To much information” but it ties into today’s blog post.

I will always say I am in love with my amazing girlfriend Alison. It’s going to hopefully stay that way forever but I know its not easy to have a successful relationship and there are a lot of breaking points you have to get through.

While I may not be a physiologist I do study it, and I able to understand and relate to a lot of people, friends see me as Dr.Phil while I may disagree with the nick name. I do enjoy helping teenagers and other people with problems.

That’s why I have just launched www.teenadviceblog.com, it’s something I enjoy doing more and more as I start working and developing more I am starting to realize if your developing a website you really need a passion and love for it.

Everyday if you want to make a successful blog you need to updating it. That means no falling behind, lets face it if your website or blog is on a boring topic do you honestly have the mental drive to update it everyday?

If your anything like me that for sure is a no. I have had a lot of “dead” websites just because I get bored of them. It’s not a good thing to do, as I said I am trying to cut lose ends on my websites that I don’t enjoy working on regardless of income. That’s why I am going to be selling two websites tonight, just due to my lack of drive to keep them updated.
