Is it time for ads?
Monday, May 12, 2008 9:52Well here’s my question to you guys, is it time to place ads on the website. By far I have had some search engine troubles using a wordpress plugin which in all honesty did more damage than good, I used to come up as number one on Teen Web Developer and now I am no longer on the list at all. Got to love all in one SEO Optimizing Wordpress plug-in. NOT!
Anyways with one of my main websites down I am having to look for a new source of income to balance it out and I have held back from placing ads because I really don’t want to use this site as like a main source of income. I have made this site for kicks. Yet sadly in order to keep me on the right track I will be adding ads in next few hours to Teen Web Developer I believe. We shall see
I promised you guys an e-mail from one of my dedicated readers this really is one of the core reasons I am still working.
Hey,
I read what happened on your blog and I’m sorry for your loss.
You found love in your life, and lost it. Losing something you care about is a
part of life, like… a good slope. Having the prefect slope to carve with your
board fells like your on top of the world. But when it’s taken way and turned
into a mall, it’s awful, it fells like you’ll never board again. But then you
find another slope, with that make’s you just as happy, even happier than before.
For that… I envy you. I have not been struck with cupid’s arrow but I too felt
the felling of losing someone close to you. No matter who we are or where we’re
from we will face challenges in many shapes and forms and those past challenges
will help you in the future.
I’m shocked at your consideration of retiring. In your own bio you said that you
enjoy doing this, and isn’t having a career you love important in this raging
river called life? But if it fells like you’ll benefit from it than go ahead.
It’s your life not mine, but there is something I learned from you. From your
sites, blogs and e-mails I can tell that your a really nice, talented guy. Their
are a lot of girls out there who do anything to have a man like you in their
lives (I know I would).
Before I go, please remember…
Never be sad for what is over, just be glad that it was once yours.

Honestly this is truly what made me sit down and just look at my life, what I want to do and how I need to get there. Web development is still a massive part of it.
Thanks Marissa you made me smile!
